Graduated from the Department of Philosophy of The Chinese University of Hong Kong , HoLok was a committee member of the Land Justice League. Devoted to conserving local agriculture, he designed and executed projects Very MK (a rooftop farm in a Mongkok) and Tree Gun Farm in the Kowloon Park as a part of Hong Kong Shenzhen Architecture Bi-annual Biennale.
HoLok ran bookstore The Coming Society during 2011 to 2015 while kept writing. He is the Executive Editor of the book Resist be thy name-calling both prosecution and hope. He managed and executed numerous innovative social projects including performance art June 4th of Hope, the Hong Kong Marx Festival and cultural/educational tour Two Million Ways to Die in Yau Ma Tei. Before founding OneLawyer Holok was a project manager at WebFusion Technology Ltd.
Holok is currently the Artist In Residence in Eaton Workshop of the Eaton Hotel. He cultivates a civic-tech community Station for Open Cultures. Through technology and innovation he wishes to nurture a mature civil society.
